Within the golden walls
of the enchanting Bab Makina,

in the warm exaltation of unforgetable sufi chants, I felt like the smile of a fassi kid, the overwhelming hope that something can change - that materialism, exploitation, propaganda and terror can be overcome by that hope,
when people simply start
meeting,
listening,
talking,
and praying each other,

under the spiritual aura of the world sacred musics.
That is the Spirit of Fez.
I will soon post an in-depth specific note about the Fez Encounters, which happened to be quite an amazing moment of grace and enlightment.
Thanks again to all of the people involved and the people I met there, specially to Ghizlane who made me the 5 days pass, Faouzi for his bright devotion, Sulak Sivaraksa for his absolute wisdom, Dr Rajwant Singh for his serenity, Eliyahu MacLean for his universal enthousiasm, Youssef and Nourredine for their insisting help, Zineb for her smile and the others, who made us feel each day deeper how Great is the All Mighty.
